SUGAR BOWL

 

Be part of the action in New Orleans by performing in the Sugar Bowl Parade and Battle of the Bands. Enjoy New Orleans’ distinctive pizzazz and soul on New Year’s Eve, and take advantage of the multiple performance opportunities in New Orleans.

December 28 - January 2

 

TRANSPORTATION

The band will travel on three coach buses provided by Sunway Charters, 2400 Queen City Drive, Charlotte, NC. 
Each bus safely seats 55 passengers. Each bus will have two drivers. The drivers will switch at some point on the way to New Orleans and on the way back. Students will be instructed to sit the entire time the bus is in motion.
No luggage or instruments will be stored in the overhead compartments, only uniforms.
One teacher on each bus is CPR and First Aid certified.
 

COST

$800 per student at 4/room. Includes transportation, hotel, 3 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 1 lunch. Accommodations will be at either the New Orleans Marriott or New Orleans Hilton on the waterfront.


Tickets to the Sugar Bowl are separate at $120/person. The winner of this field show competition will roll out the
American flag during the pregame show. Students will not need a ticket for that event and will be leaving shortly after.

PAYMENT PLANS

A deposit of $50 is required to confirm your student's spot.

Payment arrangement dates after deposit. All balances for the trip must be paid in full by October 23.

The Titanium Sound Marching Band has been invited to march in the Morgan State University Homecoming Parade in Baltimore.

DATES

Friday through Sunday in October​

TRANSPORTATION

$250 per student, includes transportation, lodging, and a meal after the parade on Saturday.

Students will be on their own for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and travel stops unless noted above.
